Due to the updated announcement given by Gov. Inslee's office, we are required to remain closed as part of the Stay at Home directive.
He has issued a 4 phase opening procedure. We are currently assessing our options. We will keep you advised here as to any changes to this information.
VAC will also be sending out another email to all membership regarding billing. If you have not received an email, please email us so that we can update your contact information and you may begin receiving informative emails.
The VAC has decided to use this mandatory shut-down to complete our “Annual Club Closure” rather than doing it in June as we usually do. This means that we will not close in June for renovations in 2020. We will dedicate this time to conduct a major deep cleaning in order to enhance the safety of our members once we are able to open our doors again.
We have some exciting things for our members to look forward to! Our racquetball court renovation was already scheduled to start on March 20th and this will be one of our main focuses during this time. We will be transforming it into a Functional Training Center with new equipment and class/training options. Upon re-opening, the renovations will still be in progress as we have two 16-foot-wide glass panel garage doors that will be installed along the west wall separating the new training center from the outside. These doors are scheduled to arrive in mid-April.
Thank you so much to everyone for your support during this extremely challenging time. We love our Vashon community and hope
everyone stays healthy and safe!
